Calgary — Stephen Avenue + Mission (4 St SW)
2023–present
The Unicorn (Stephen Ave) + The Unicorn on 4 (Mission)
9,000 → 13,700 monthly sessions in 12 months
Across both locations
The Unicorn is Calgary’s first authentic Irish pub — a downtown institution on Stephen Avenue known simply as “Calgary’s Superpub.” With the opening of a second location, The Unicorn on 4 in Mission, the brand now serves two neighbourhoods with craft beer, proper pub food, weekend brunch, live entertainment, and every big game and UFC pay-per-view on screen.
An iconic pub in person, nearly invisible online. Diners decide where to eat and book from their phones — and with a second location opening, The Unicorn needed two connected web presences: each venue with its own personality, menus, reservations, and events, under one legendary brand.
They also needed the pub to look as good online as it does at the bar — which meant real photography and video, not stock.
A landing hub at superpub.ca routes guests to each venue’s own site — menus, reservations, gallery, events, and hours for The Unicorn downtown and The Unicorn on 4 in Mission.
Ranking for the searches thirsty Calgarians make — “Irish pub Calgary,” “pubs downtown Calgary,” “craft beer Calgary” — with local SEO for both neighbourhoods.
On-location shoots capture what makes the pub the pub — the bar, the brass unicorn, the food, the rooms — so every page feels like a seat at the table.
Produced video brings the venues to life online — including the hero banner film running on The Unicorn on 4’s homepage.
One brand, two doors — each venue with its own logo, address, and site.
